Job Description
Do you want to qualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA))? We’re looking for candidates who are already enrolled at university to study accounting to join our program as Article Clerks at Ferreira & Partners.
What you’ll do
- Work on audit, accounting, tax and assurance engagements for a range of clients
- Prepare working papers and test transactions, controls and balances accurately
- Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations
- Help with tax returns, VAT and payroll submissions as directed
- Gather and check client information, and follow up on queries and outstanding documents
Key Requirements
- Accepted or already enrolled to study accounting at university
- Strong accounting, analytical and numeracy skills
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Honest, ethical and able to keep information confidential
- Willing to learn and take feedback
