Job Description
Do you care about plants, gardens and the people we work for? As the Landscaping & Garden Care Intern you’ll support the team in delivering garden care, maintenance and landscape installation.
What you’ll do
- Take part in scheduled garden care visits: weeding, pruning, trimming, mowing, edging, mulching, feeding and watering
- Help with lawn care and irrigation checks
- Assist on landscape installation projects, including preparing soil, planting, groundworks, irrigation and hard landscaping under supervision
- Set up and pack up each site, keep it clean, safe and tidy, and make sure nothing is left behind
- Load and unload vehicles and trailers carefully, and keep tools and equipment clean and well cared for
- Report pests, disease, hazards, shortages and equipment issues
Key Requirements
- Grade 9
- Great attention to detail
- Cares about plants, gardens and the people we work for
- Physically fit, able to carry heavy supplies
